Gold Rush was founded by Ken Pettis in August 2021 after he realized there was a critical need for long-distance car service for underserved communities in South Mississippi.

Ken was born and raised in Wiggins, Mississippi then joined the Navy upon completion of high school to become a Russian linguist.

Ken served 20 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.

He then worked as an intelligence analyst, technical director, section chief, and directorate chief for the Department of Defense.

Through his work Ken traveled to 51 countries and he has been to 49 states (only Vermont remains) so he very well knows and appreciates the challenges one faces when traveling.

Ken lives on his small farm on the bank of a river in south Mississippi.

He loves serving people and he’s looking forward to meeting you!
